Emergency Procedures

In case of fire or emergency, please contact Reception by dialling ‘0’.  If there is any delay in response you should contact Emergency Services directly by dialling ‘9’ and then ‘999’ from your guest room telephone.

Please take time to read the Fire Evacuation notice posted on your bedroom door and familiarise yourself with the emergency exits and procedures.

If you have a disability, please inform our Front Desk Team upon arrival to enable us to provide proper care in the event of an emergency.

When the fire alarm is sounded, all guests must evacuate the building immediately and proceed to the meeting point, which is located outside the hotel, on the right-hand side ( car park entrance ) For your safety, do not stop to pick up any personal belongings along the way.

By law and as part of our commitment to guest safety, we are required to test the fire system on a regular basis, which we carry out each week on a Monday at 12:00 noon. Guests will be informed in advance of any tests.

Non-Smoking Policy

All of our guest bedrooms and public areas, including our breakfast room and lobby, are non-smoking and we kindly ask you to respect this policy.  This is a legal obligation, and you will incur a £200 additional cleaning fee if you smoke in the hotel.

Guest Services & Facilities

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in time is from 2 pm. Check-out time is by 11 am. Our team will gladly store your luggage should you arrive early or depart late. 

Parking

Parking is available for everyone to use, kindly note a booking for a parking space is not required and this works on a first come first serve basis.

If you park within the premises, please report to reception to register your vehicle, failing to register your car then a parking ticket will be issued.

Parking charges are £15.00 per day and will be debited to your card upon check-in.

If you are a blue badge holder, please get in touch with us in order to reserve a parking spot.

A 30-minute grace period is allowed from the time the car enters the property.

Luggage

Please contact the Front Desk by dialling “0” at least fifteen minutes before you are ready to check out and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Concierge Services

Our Front Desk team will be delighted to assist you in planning your London activities. Please stop by the Front Desk or dial “0” for reservations, directions and much more.

Umbrellas

Our complimentary umbrellas are available at reception. Please remember to return the umbrella otherwise a £15.00 charge will be added to your bill. If you like to purchase one, please let our reception team member know.

Do Not Disturb Policy

There is a privacy sign located on the front door of your room, if you prefer not to be disturbed, please place this sign on the outside of your door.  Note that when you have placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign housekeeping will not provide daily service.

Iron / Ironing Board & Hair dryer

These are located in the room wardrobe.

In-Room Safe

There is a safe in every room, located inside the wardrobe. To open & lock the safe, please follow up the instructions provided. On departure, please ensure you have removed all your personal belongings and leave the safe unlocked.

In-Room Minibar

A selection of drinks in the mini-fridge and snacks on the tray is available in the room for guests to use, the price list for those items can be found on the snacks tray.

Gym Access

Our gym is open daily Monday to Friday from 6 am 9 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 9 pm. Your room key is programmed to open the gym door. The Gym is for each of our guests to be used therefore please be considerate of others and leave the equipment as you found it and use the sanitiser provided to wipe down the equipment.

Laundry, Dry Cleaning & Pressing

This service is available from Monday to Saturday.  Items collected prior to 9 am will be returned before 7 pm on the same day.  Please contact our Front Desk by dialling “0” to arrange collection.

5 Kg washing is available at a £35.00 charge.

No service on Sundays and Bank Holidays

Housekeeping Services

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint wherever possible and your assistance is appreciated.  Our housekeeping department provides a linen change every third day of your stay.  If you would like your towels changed daily, please place them on the floor or in the bathtub/shower. We are happy to provide additional guestroom amenities, including non-allergic pillows and duvets, baby cots and clothes hangers. Shaving kits and dental kits are also available upon request, charges are applied.  Please call our Front Desk for any requests you might have.

Pet Charges

The Lodge Hotel is a Pet-friendly property and we are always happy to accommodate your furry friend; a £15.00 charge per day will be added to your bill. Additional charges will apply for any damage.

Room Keys

Your room key is issued upon check-in. It is programmed for the duration of your stay and expires at 11 am on your departure date.  Your room key is sensitive to electronic and magnetic items therefore should be stored away from your credit card and mobile phone to avoid deactivation.  Please remember to return your key on departure.

Security

All visitors are required to register at reception for safety and security purposes, we appreciate your cooperation.

The Lodge Hotel Lounge Bar

Our lounge bar is located on the ground floor and is open daily to our resident guests.  Please feel free to use this facility at your leisure.

HIDE & Seed Restaurant

Our restaurant is open from Monday to Thursday for dinner service from 4 pm to 9.45 pm, Friday and Saturday our Kitchen is open all day till 9.45 pm and on Sunday the restaurant close after Breakfast service.

Business Services

We can arrange some business services including photocopying, faxing, taking messages, and courier services. All services are subject to availability and charges. Please contact our Front Desk by dialling “0” for further information.

Room Cancellation

Our room cancellation policy requires 24 hours notice (by 2 pm the day prior to arrival, local time).  Please contact reception for further details or clarification.  Should you wish to depart the hotel earlier than expected, please ensure that you notify reception by 2 pm on the day prior to your intended departure date.

Pre-paid non-refundable bookings are subject to full cancellation charges for your entire stay should you need to depart early.

Internet Access

High-speed wireless Internet access is available in all guest bedrooms and public areas and is free of charge.

To use this service – Switch on your computer. Ensure that your wireless port/card is enabled and connect to ‘LodgeHotelGuestWIFI. A login screen should appear, however, if it does not launch your internet browser.  Select ‘Guest Wi-Fi’, tick the T&C box, click on Self Registration and follow the on-screen directions to gain access to the Internet. Each device will require you to log in separately.

Premium WIFI service available (50MB download / 50MB upload), subject to additional charges

Using Your Remote Control

To switch the television on you may need to press the ON/OFF button or a channel selection button: (P+ P–) or simply a channel number on your remote control.  If you experience problems with the “All-For-One” remote control, please press the button marked ‘TV’ and try again.

Medical Emergencies

Should you need urgent medical attention please dial ‘9’ and then ‘999’ from the phone in your room to be connected directly to the emergency services. If you suffer from a medical emergency during your stay, please also immediately contact Reception by dialling 0 from your room.

The nearest Accident and Emergency room is:

Charing Cross Hospital, Fulham Palace Rd, London W6 8RF which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week however it can take upwards of 4-6 hours for you to see a doctor if they are busy.

For non-serious medical issues, there is a medical walk-in service available which is located a 12-minute drive from the hotel at:

Parsons Green NHS walking centre, 527 Parson Green, London, SW6 4UL

This service is much quicker, and a nurse will determine if you need to go to A&E or if your condition can wait until you get home. Hours do vary so please speak to a member of our reception team who will be happy to advise you.

Please note there may be charges associated with urgent medical treatment. Please take your passport, insurance documents and EHIC card if applicable.

Getting around London

Below are some helpful tips to get you around London, alternatively please dial “0” and our reception team will be delighted to assist you.

Private Car: A private car service is available for transfers to London airports and any destination in the UK offering both daily and per-hour rates.  We also offer pick-up service from all London airports.

Tube:  The nearest underground station is East Putney Station (District Line)

Bus Routes: Numerous bus routes service our area.  For more information, please visit www.tfl.gov.uk/buses or call London Transport 24-hour information on 0207 222 1234.  Alternatively, please contact the Concierge for a copy of a London Transport Bus Map.

Thames Clippers: Serving both as a scheduled commuter and tourist boats, services are of great value and fast.  They run from Embankment and Waterloo Piers to Woolwich via Canary Wharf stopping at Tate Modern, London Bridge, Tower of London, and Greenwich. Nearby Underground Stations – East Putney station

One of the fastest ways to travel around London is by tube but please remember that occasionally there are disruptions due to ongoing work taking place, particularly at weekends.  We recommend that you plan your journey in advance and check with our Front Desk before you travel.  Underground maps are available at reception.

London Mainline Train Stations: The nearest train station is Putney Station.

To book tickets for mainline train services the easiest option is at the ticket counter at the station or at ticket machines located inside the terminals. There are often engineering works on weekends and bank holidays so please speak to our concierge team regarding departure times.

Kings Cross St Pancras: East Coast Main Line trains to York, Edinburgh, Cambridge and Luton Airport

St Pancras International: International train services to Paris, Amsterdam, Burge and Brussels

Euston: West Coast Main Line trains to Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester

Paddington: Bath, Bristol, Cornwall and the Heathrow Express

Waterloo: Salisbury (Stonehenge), Windsor and the South coast

Victoria: Gatwick Express, Brighton and the south coast

London Bridge: Canterbury and the Kent coast and countryside
