Windsor is a popular tourist destination located about 23 miles west of London’s city centre. Famed for its main attraction, Windsor Castle, Windsor is a great place to experience many other activities and learn about some of England’s richest history.

Windsor Castle: One of Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite castles, Windsor Castle is the largest inhabited castle in the world, covering a total of 26 acres. Explore the castle grounds and rooms and immerse yourself in history. An adult ticket costs £15.50, which includes guided tours. Don’t miss the changing of the guard at 11am!

Shopping: Buy souvenirs at the shops surrounding Windsor Castle, browse Daniels, an independent department store, or simply take a look around popular shops such as Zara, H&M and TopShop. Antiques enthusiasts will also enjoy the variety Windsor has to offer.

Sightseeing: There are a variety of ways to explore the Windsor area. Why not try a boat tour along the River Thames, or even a horse drawn carriage.

Family Fun: LEGOLAND at Windsor is a perfect day out for the entire family. Not an ordinary theme park, at LEGOLAND you’ll have access to over 50 rides, as well as interactive workshops set amongst 150 acres of parkland.
