Bordered by the river Thames and Eel Pie Island, Twickenham is a pretty district, with tree-lined roads and many boutiques and cafes. Twickenham is also home to Twickenham Stadium – one of the largest rugby stadiums in England.

- Twickenham Stoop Stadium – A must for all rugby fans. Home to the Harlequins rugby union team and the Harlequins rugby league, the Stoop is a short 20min taxi ride from our hotel
- Twickenham Festival 2010 (11th – 20th June) – Popular amongst both locals and visitors to Twickenham, the Twickenham Festival is an event not to be missed! Enjoy sports, theatre performances, music, shopping and alfresco dining.
- Mary Wallace Theatre – Situated on the riverside, the Mary Wallace Theatre is home to the Richmond Shakespeare Society – an amateur dramatic group who like to dabble in both ancient and modern theatre. (Please note, you must become a member of the RSS to buy tickets – memberships costs £10)
- Twickenham Museum – Discover the ‘real’ Twickenham with a visit to the Twickenham Museum. Based near the River Thames, the Twickenham Museum is a short walk away from Putney and admission is free.
